My neighbour owns a wood next to a field where there are hares. Unable to resist the chance of another hare image, I almost killed myself climbing through the overgrown brambles, fallen trees and other debris to get in a position on the edge of the wood to see into the field without disturbing the animals. The 12 hares promised, on this occasion, turned out to be one, at least, in close proximity to the wood. So, here it is – a brown hare relaxing among the stubble.
