Verreaux’s eagle owl

There is a huge tree by the waterhole at Okaukuejo rest camp in the Etosha NP, on which sits a pair of tawny eagles.  Looking carefully into the foliage, I could just see an owl shape in the dusk.  The next morning, I managed to get a better angle on the tree and found this massive Verreaux’s eagle owl, the biggest owl in this area and identifiable by its pink eyebrows.
