Three-toed sloths

Three-toed (or three-fingered) sloths in Manuel Antonio and Tortuguero, Costa Rica.  Three-fingered is a more appropriate name and often used since all sloths have three toes but the difference is the number of fingers.  These animals live in the tress and descend only once per week to defacate, where they bury their waste to avoid attracting predators.
