There were relatively few birds of interest on our trip through the rockies. Maybe it was the time of year but many of those we heard or saw were deep in the darkness of the forests. Here are those that made a decent image – an immature white-fronted goose and a Canada goose, cedar waxwings, a grey jay, a Clark’s nutcracker, a brown creeper, a juvenile American dipper, a red breasted nuthatch and American goldfinches.
