Having photographed wild reindeer in Svalbard, last year, I wanted to get more shots of those in northern Norway. These were most obliging and I was pleased to be rewarded for my tramp up a cold and wet mountainside in Honninsvag. My pleasure was tempered a little when I discovered these are domestic animals, property of the Sami people, or as they are traditionally known, Laplanders.
