Northern gannets, in the North Sea off Bempton Cliffs, feeding on mackerel courtesy of the RSPB’s ‘Gannet Cruise’ on the Yorkshire Belle out of Bridlington harbour. It is not surprising, therefore, that these images show the chaos and rivalry involved in feeding at sea, especially when there is insufficient resources for all.
