Florida shorebirds

Willet, ring-billed gulls, sandwich terns, royal terns and a Forster’s tern on the beach in Sanibel Island and Lake Kissimmee, Florida.  The pink eggs on the post where the Forster’s tern is sitting are apple snail eggs, staple diet of the limpkin.
