Barn Owl

I was in Norfolk last weekend and, as usual, I set off driving around the country lanes in search of Barn Owls and Hares.  On my first morning, I was about to give up and head back for breakfast when I found myself in the village of Gresham and spotted two Barn Owls hunting in a field adjacent to the road.  That was the only time I saw two together which made me think they might be sitting eggs.  One appeared every morning over the weekend and once when I visited during late afternoon.  Thanks to David and Anne from the village, I was able to get a good deal of local knowledge and have a nice chat while I was waiting…
